Oh what a night it was !!! It was a most spectacular musical journey for Mitun my daughter and her baby- Raga Factory. They simply rocked the night away to the packed appreciative Dubai audiance. It was most heartening to see how much they love mitun and her singing. The most touching moment for us ( for my wife and me) was when mitun, suudenly- without our being aware, told in a very emotional voice, that the inspiration behind her singing, was her father, who initiated as well guided her into singing from a very tender age. And that it was proud moment for her that her parents have come from kolkata to be present here this evening to see her perform. She polnted to the location where we were seated and reqsted us to stand up to be introduced to the applauding audiance. Some of the special guests came running to us and lead us to the front of the stage.............. it was a very touching moment for us to be honoured by such great people. We were very touched by this gesture. We felt humbked and honoured. In an impulse, I too sang a line or two, together with my daughter, to convey my deep gratitude to the cheering crowd. How proud I feel today- to be the father of my child- who is giving me so much respect and joy today?? I am grateful to almighty God.
