Oh what is on my mind? My grandfather who has been the rock in my family for many years. Who I have loved and at the same time butted heads with, is battling. We dont really know the extent of what we are dealing with, but wow man!, really crazy to see someone who you love in a bind. The one thing I truly am thankful for is that I am thankful to say our relationship has never been so tight. Since I have been in the wonderful program of AA. I can say, Grandpa I was wrong and I am sorry. and he has always told me I had the gift of the gab. If you know my grandpa Don. You know where I get it from. We dont really see eye to eye with the political bullshit because that is what it is. BULLSHIT! I can say Casey and Don Schwanz will always love and care for each other..The family I have both close and distant are the most family oriented folks I am lucky to call on in time of trouble and in time of celebration. Now we can have differences in our opinion of what is upstairs but rest assured, being sober I am already at the first step. My grandfather means so much to my cousins, aunts and uncles, my mom and dad, and my brother. Such a Hard worker. And all he has ever asks for was rain on his crops and good health to all..I hope and pray he has strength and power to know what is best. God I Love that man with all my heart. I really do hope I have more time with him. One thing I have learned is that to appreciate life is to accept life on lifes terms. Hug and kiss your loved ones. SHALOM...........casey. b. schwanz
