Oh wow! I just spent the last two hours I the puppy pen, experimenting with the pups natural behavioral responses to my Young Living Essential oils! ~ A dogs sense of smell is over 2000 times as strong as ours so all odors are intense information to them! ~ Carefully, I opened one oil bottle at a time and simply set it on the floor of the pen to allow each pup to approach the bottle, at their own pace, to get a closer whiff, if they so desired. So many different reactions! It is so fascinating to observe each individuals reactive behavior, everything from turning away, to snorting, to rolling, to slowly creeping closer, to jumping at the bottle, to wanting to lick the bottle, and even batting the bottle around the pen floor to play with - that one was Vetiver! The more popular oils were Tangerine, Peace & Calming, Idaho Balsam Fir, and Rose - but Vetiver was their collective favorite!!! What a great experience!!! :) There are so many ways to healing health, and aromatherapy with therapeutic grade essential oils is just one!!!
