Oh wow! I really cannot put into words how stunned I am at the rapid response our local community had when asked to sign a petition asking officials to allow BCI to take over the investigation of the Mary Cook murder. In less than 48 hours, we gathered over 500 signatures!! This proves our community has never forgotten what took place in 1990 to a wonderful lady who deserves JUSTICE. The sheer brutality of the crime against Mrs. Cook was unwarranted and unforgivable. To make matters worse, I am alleging police corruption occurred when an arrest was made 18 years after the murder. They charged James Hollis with complicity to murder, when all evidence points in an entirely different direction. A direction they have known since 1990. Why James Hollis is the question?? Why? Because hes black? Because they felt they owed him one after the beating he endured at the hands of a local police officer...who was asked to resign after said beating (1989). Another thing..several law enforcement officers in the 80s never called James by his name. It was half-breed, nigger, spook, and whatever else they could come up with. Was race the driving factor in the subsequent arrest of Mr. Hollis? I dont know. What I do know is, after reading all of the evidence, I can publicly state the following...James Hollis had nothing to do with this crime. I am uploading official documents on the Facebook page, Hollis Story. They at least call him Jimmy..shouldnt official documents use his given name of, James J. Hollis? So many inconsistencies and atrocities in this case. Because of you and your wonderful family and friends, we now have over 500 signatures to deliver to the officials who have consistently barred BCI from entering this case. If they dont listen to the people of this community..then you will know for certain, they are corrupt and police misconduct has occurred in this crime and conviction. I still have several documents to upload on the Hollis Story page. I havent even dropped the bombshells yet and look where we are. You are smart enough to read and know, something went really wrong in this conviction and Mary Cook has not received justice! We are doing this for the victim. We are doing this for the wrongfully convicted. We are doing this for JUSTICE! Thank you from the bottom of my heart
