Oh yeah, its ESPN Thursday night college football coming atcha and I normally always root for the SEC teams,but tonight is a bit different circumstance. The game this evening is being held in the Little Apple -- Manhattan, Kansas where I received my Masters, my wife Angela got her BS and PhD -- we both taught there -- Angelas brother received his BS, and my best friend Simeon received his BS. That school is Kansas State University, home of the Wildcats, Purple Reign! Tonight the defending SEC Champion Auburn Tigers come to the little town in the Flint Hills for a big time SEC-Big 12 matchup. This past June the West family returned to Manhattan for the first time since departing there back in 1997. We took the girls -- both born in Kansas -- into Bill Snyder Family Stadium and boy has it changed since the old days. It will be a good game, and crowd will be rockin with the Wabash Cannonball playing. Already wearing my K-State t-shirt, Go Cats!
