Oh yes, and the kicker was this: while standing in front of the mic to sing another song, I felt something odd. I looked down and saw that my necklace broke. It was literally resting on the top of the v neck part of the dress. Jeepers. Furthermore, the dress was a gift back in 1998, and Ive worn it less than five times. A woman at a former job, Taliesin West, told our tour department she was cleaning out her and her mothers stuff, and we were welcome to any of it. I could tell the black-beaded necklace was dated, because of the gradual sizes and unique shapes of the beads, but I never dreamed it was actually weak. The beads were not round but had many sides on each of them. Fortunately the beads did not go everywhere. The string next to the clasp broke.
