Ok - I have a cool thing to be thankful for.... ... getting my main home mega tower computer back on line with a main hard drive rebuild that was finally successful last night!! Three weeks ago the RAID hard drive had one of the 4 component drives crash. An easy repair (swap out bad drive even when system is on) went bad when the RAID array crashed. I use a really good backup system (Retrospect) but my last full backup was March of this year. Thats good enough because I have only installed 3 new programs since then - and all my projects are manually backed up to the local network. Problem has been figuring out the Restore features of Retrospect - and having a full time job and active weekends - but I finally figured it out yesterday and my desktop is now loaded with a perfect version of what it was like in the Spring. Yahoo !! Now the rest of my day consists of updating everything and reloading my projects to keep my work going. For my MINI friends, my MTTS 2014 project is not set back much. I lost half a week of work (improvements on maybe a few dozen images) but I will be very happy to be restarting that again......
