Ok I am really mad now so here it goes. I do not condone riots or violent protests, EVER!! However there is such a thing as righteous anger. As a 3rd year medical student I went on a 4 week missions trip with other students and doctors to Nicaragua. Upon my return I was taken aside by US Customs in Miami for questioning, set apart and put away from my colleagues. They were not allowed to come see me. After they found nothing only person or in my belongings I was released. I was the only Black person that I remember seeing in the plane. I guess they thought I had to be there for drug trafficking. How about the hit and run when the older white woman hit me and almost got away with it? What would a young Black female like me be doing in a newer 7 series BMW? I AM FINALLY PUTTING IT OUT THERE. RACISM EXISTS EVEN IN CHURCH!! I know I have seen it several times. Even supposed to be Christians. How about the ones who complain about us but cant offer a single solution? Phew... I am done now. Im tired of the decent Blacks staying quiet. We need to discuss these issues and history DOES AND WILL REPEAT ITSELF DUE TO IGNORANCE. Now lets see who is brave enough to like this status!!
