Ok, I dont know Tony Stewart. But Ive seen him run. And I know a few athletes that play in his arena. I know guys LIKE him. I know guys that have run the same track with him. Ive seen champion level drivers flip out, and Ive seen accidents happen. What I DO NOT know - is what its like to come out of that turn going 100 miles an hour in the chaos of a crash. I dont know that kind of stress. I dont know the distractions, and I dont know what it looks like thru the windshield with the smoke and the dirt. Im not a physicist, and Im not a mechanic, and I sure as hell cant drive a car like that. What I DO know - is that you dont get to be at the level of Tony Stewart and just suddenly decide to run a kid down. This kind of talk is crazy lunacy to me. Calling him a Murderer is madness. Its a disrespectful, disregard for what it takes to run a track at that speed and not kill EVERYONE. I have nothing but remorse for Kevin Ward Jr. and his family. May he rest in peace as the champion he was. And to Tony Stewart and his family and friends... I hope he can find the strength to get back into the car.
