Ok I have a question but figure I will get a bunch of cr@p for it but really need someone elses view....... I have 2 smallish dogs a 10 yr old jack Russell mix Jazzy and her 8 yr old daughter Scruffy. Scruffy went mostly deaf and blind a few years ago she learned quickly where things are and got around ok ( Unless things get moved or added to her space ) but the last couple months she has been whinning and yipping when one of the other dogs bump her. Jazzy has been healthy but on the last month she has lost almost half her weight and her hind end seems tender and sore if touched. She is also going blind and deaf.... we have had a few financial problems. ( engine in car went out had to replace it ) and some medical issues cant afford to have all the tests run to figure out for sure what the problems are. They think Jazzy has injured her hips or lower back. To many possibilities for weight loss but have tried different foods she wont even eat much cottage cheese ( her favorite treat from when she was prego and nursing. they have recommended having her put down same with Scruffy she is now totally blind and deaf and has injured herself multiple times running into things. They are my babies but if it is best .... I just dont know
