Ok I have had a ford 1 ton diesel for years and have loved it minus the poor mileage never worried about hooking it up to anything I replaced the transmission this spring in TN while on vacation and it is a 4 door long bed do it takes up space. I want to get a newer diesel truck 4 door short bed 4X4. What do I need to be looking for? I want a 3/4 ton so it would be a 250 or 2500. And I want better mileage I know pulling a camper u cant expect great mileage but I want good mileage. Any thoughts on what I should look at? Thanks
