Ok I have seen a lot of articles on this Ian Thorpe thing so here is my opinion ... As gays, yes we have deep down always known that Ian is gay but who are we to ever say or judge when somebody else feels comfortable to come out. We all come out in our own time and at the time when we feel our most comfortable. Lets remember he had million dollar sponsorships happening that I am sure would not have excepted him being gay so I have to say I applauded Ian for finally doing what most of us had the opportunity to do years ago. If he is finally comfortable to do this now then why should anyone of us ever judge him for this ... Kudos you Ian, and I am so glad that you have finally felt comfortable enough to come out. Believe me as a gay man who came out over 20 years ago now, your life will hopefully only improve and feel and get much better now that you have accepted and have been honest with yourself xxx
