Ok, I have to share this video as well. As some of you may know I flew out to Miami, Florida for the our first Diesel Nation Diamond Retreat. This is a Special retreat put together by my friends & upline coaches, Becky Bergolla Brossett & Kristina Delgado. This was their way of saying THANK YOU & YOU ROCK to all of the Diamond & higher ranked coaches within their organization with Beachbody. These ladies did nothing short of an amazing job putting this together & treating us! I cannot tell you HOW blessed I feel to be a part of this team! Anyway at lunch Kristina asked that some of us share a highlight of our year. Many coaches got up & stated that they never thought they would be in that room, they never imagined they could actually make a difference & become one of the coaches they followed or learned from. Many many many tears flowed during this 15 minutes! There were 3 people that made the tears flow heavily. The video below is one of them, Brigitte Aleman. Her story is powerful & I KNOW that there are so many others out there that can fully relate to her. So very proud of her for standing up & sharing!!! The second one, Mindy Hord. She started to cry almost instantly & I knew what she was going to say. This summer is the FIRST summer EVER that she got to be home with her 3 children & actually enjoy them. Some of you may know that she became a mom at a very young age & had to grow up very quickly. Always having to sacrifice time to make money to support herself & her daughter. She has since become a mother of 2 more kiddos & still continued on the same path. Sacrificing her time to support them. All the while thinking that is what she was supposed to be doing & how life worked. But so deeply miserable inside it was affecting her greatly. When Beachbody came into her life, she never imagined where it would take her just 18 months later to retiring at the ripe old age of 32, to be able to be home with her kids & give them what they needed most, HER!! I balled along with her because she is amazing & gives so many people hope that they can do what they set their minds too! Then Kristina spoke. I have had a lot of interaction with Kristina & what she said on this day I hadnt heard before. She said that before Beachbody she ONLY defined herself as a LAWYER. She went to law school, got a job right away, became a partner, gave birth to two beautiful children. She was a LAWYER! Her sister, Becky, became a coach & convinced her to sign up to get the discount. The rest is history! Like serious history! She walked away from that 8 year career & now defines herself as a MOTHER, WIFE, FRIEND, SISTER & COACH! Exactly the place she should be. There were many more heart warming stories that day. We all have a story. We all have struggles. We all have accomplishments. We are all in DIFFERENT places in our lives, I think that is the biggest thing people do not realize. They often start to compare themselves to more successful people. STOP IT!!! Take these stories & know that YOU too can be who you want to be.
