Ok I think I should just give up going outdoors for a while :-). I ventured out today to collect a car for hubby. 1. Can people turning left at a Robot turn into the LEFT lane and not come right across into the Right lane - it is possible for 2 opposite direction of traffic to turn simultaneously if you keep in the correct lane. 2. The advanced driving skills needed to out manoeuvre the pot holes is ridiculous. 3. Coming up Bryanston Drive, on the bend with oncoming traffic I see a huge truck pulled over half in the road, half on the pavement with a guy drinking coffee standing NEXT to the drivers side, IN the MIDDLE of the road, chatting. So what would any driver do slow down, hoping the idiot gets out of the way? Of course - but he simply stands there, cup in hand, staring at me like Im in the wrong. Correct me but I am IN my car, moving and he is in the middle of the road? Wait for it - I cant pull into oncoming traffic and I cant squeeze past him without doing so, so I have to stop and ....he SHOUTS at me, swearing at what an idiot I am AND he still doesnt move. Eventually I ironed his trousers for him and he was still swearing when I looked back.
