Ok Ive never done this before but Ive been invited by a lovely friend Caitriona Cunningham to share the 7 day gratitude challenge so i cannot refuse. Here goes: 1/ I am grateful for all the friendships I have, including on here, and to be able to sometimes reconnect with folk again even after many, many years of not seeing them. There is only one true luxury in life and that is human friendship Saint-Exupery said that. I live by that statement. We dont always have to agree on everything but show me you have a beating compassionate heart and are prepared to humble down sometimes and admit when youve made a mistake. Be real. Dont hide behind intellectual conceits and have some self-awareness. 2/ I am grateful for the love of music, being able to listen and enjoy it, and play it too. Music is Gods gift to man, the only art of Heaven given to earth, the only art of earth we take to Heaven. Walter Savage Landor 3/ I am eternally grateful for continuing good health and a full head of hair which unfortunately will never be as good as David Bowies.
