Ok, I’m going to do my bio now, before I chicken out or get too intimidated by you guys and your awesomeness: So, hi, my name is Sophia, like it says next to that picture of two little weirdos dressed as Jedi; I haven’t changed much since that picture was taken, if I’m being totally honest. I grew up in Miami, FL, but my family moved to Boston, MA a couple years ago and I am at school in Philadelphia, PA (it’s a long story). Its probably easier for me to tell you what I WON’T be majoring in (math, business, computer science) because my interests range from English to classical studies to biology. Still, I figure if there’s any place suited to an “undecided like me, it’s Wesleyan! I love to read, although due to the sheer amount of work I’ve had this past year I haven’t had much time for pleasure reading. I’m a HUGE Joss Whedon fan (no, that’s not the ONLY reason I want to go to Wesleyan) so I love Buffy, Firefly, etc (I dont want to embarrass myself unnecessarily by listing the hoards of other TV shows that I also watch). Music tastes: I got the classic rock bug from my dad, as well his love for the Foo Fighters, but I’m not especially picky about what music I listen to, as long as I’m listening to something. I play basketball and softball, and hopefully I will be able to fit some club/intramural basketball into my schedule next year. Current obsession: Orphan Black.
