Ok, Kathy is making me do this. I have to list 8 things that I think most people will not know about me. 1. I was a cheerleader for my 5th grade football team. The cheerleaders were almost as good as the football players. 2. Moved from NLR to Stuttgart in 1960 because NLR would not let me attend public school past the 6th grade. My parents wanted me to attend a public school and Stuttgart agreed so moved there in the 6th grade. 3. My first job was with Rural Electric Company in Stuttgart. 4. I have been retired from AT&T for 12 years and I am pretty much bored. Wishing I had a part time job...not full time, but part time. 5. I have a mischievous streak in me. So you better watch out you might be next. 6. I always said I would not mind having kids if they were born walking and potty trained. Now that I have three step children I have found I should have had a few more stipulations on this one. 7. Met my current husband online. Not that I recommend this but when you live in a town of 256 and there were only 4 men available and 3 of those were in their 80s and one was dating someone then there was not much of a choice. This could be dangerous but I lucked out and found a winner. 8. My husband is not a US citizen, he is a permanent resident with a green card (they are not really green). Now you want to know why he does not become a US resident and that is really simple. The US does not recognize dual citizenship so if he were to become a US citizen he would lose his Social Security from Canada that he had put into for 30 years.
