Ok Nota update, tyres fitted to GEAR and Historic Vee spec wheels, all run true and balanced, also got as part of the deal for selling my alloy wheels was a set of 4 inch wheels which will be used as transport wheels/storage wheels and a pair of genuine VW rear axle boots, Thanks Stephen Muller from Volks Muller at Amaroo park, now I can remove the 1970/65 engine and fit a type 1 single port engine and be ready for GEAR in December and the 50th bash next year
