Ok all you Country Friends...I have gotten wind of a series of books that sound right up my alley and I hope yours too. Take a look at her FB page and see what you think! Please tell Jeffree you heard about her here at Good Country Things! The following information was given to me directly from the author, Jeffree Wyn Itrich... The first book in the series, DESTINY AT OAK VALLEY, starts in the 21st century. The protagonist, Rachel Kingston, is an accomplished hot air balloonist who through a seeming accident flies into the Wild West of New Mexico. The bulk of the novel is her attempt to return home.CALL OF THE WHISPERWIND, takes up where Destiny leaves off. She is still living in 19th century New Mexico, now of her own will, and has created a life for herself. She is married to her great love and is raising a family. But its not enough. As an educated 21st century woman she wants to do more than clean house, cook, and raise children, all of which is not easy without modern conveniences.. Yet, she appreciates the simpler life that the 19th century offers. Ultimately what she thinks will be a quiet life turns out to be anything but when murder strikes her town. The first book, Destiny at Oak Valley, is available on all the major book websites, but Call of the Whisperwind is available only on Amazon. Both can be purchased in ebook and softcover. Reviews have been highly positive for both. Think Ill have to check them out!! ~~
