Ok everyone I seriously need some help,my poor dogs have been bitten to buggary by bloody horse flies, I am constantly swatting them, squashing them and hoovering them up :( I have asked the vet, googled been to hardware store etc etc. I can see they are visual predators they gravitate towards dark objects and carbon dioxide, the females bite the males feed on pollen (useless info but I think I could write a column on these b*st*rds. So now I have two industrial swatters and some borax powder, does anyone anywhere have a receipe or even just an inkling as to how i make up a spray with the borax when I look online it talks about drops of borax, warm water and white vinegar but before I adapt and make up my own spray I wondered if anyone had any experience. Please Please please!!! Also how the hell would I find a nest if there is one....?? I kid you not Honey goes outside to pee and within seconds she has a minimum of five on her.
