Ok first off the CHILD and I mean child is very compelling in her argument and exceedingly good at being a journalism major however when I started reading the 286 pg manuscript from the grand jury SHE provided something did not seem right so I went digging! It seems that as a requirement to have a panel of grand jurors you need more then the 12 people that is stated in the manuscript. according to the Legal Information Institute you must have a jury of 16-23 people ... thinking she should have done a tad bit more research! The second thing I wondered was just who could get their hands on the Official transcripts of a grand jury as the grand jury is sworn to secrecy and can not talk about the proceedings. A witness can talk about what they said but in general no one else can. so again I did some digging and guess what ... According to campus.udayton.edu/~grandjur/faq/faq7.htm The court reporters notes, the tapes, and/or the transcripts made from either are secret and cant be revealed except in extraordinary circumstances. To obtain grand jury transcripts, the person seeking the transcripts has to show he or she has a specific, compelling need for them and, usually, that the transcripts are to be used in connection with a judicial proceeding. So in conclusion she has learned her trade well as MOST journalist do not report the truth they make the evidence fit their stories to sell the papers! My suggestion to her ... do a tad bit more research before you delve in topics so that you are not so easily caught on your mistakes again!!! By the way you transcripts did look official you were caught on facts as they say!!!
