Ok guys for the yakers that fish deep water and use vertical jigs I have a tip for you. Get yourself some fish oil and dip or rub some on your vertical jig then send it to the bottom. When youre jigging do not bring it all the way to the top. Lift it up 3 times before jigging it up. As yourre jigging your lure up, time it by counting. Either count to 5, 10, or 20 depending on deep. Once you get a bite then keep up with that number (usual its 10 seconds) That will help you know what deep the first are biting.
