Ok guys, here they are! My reactions to Nickelodeons Kids Choice - TopicsExpress

Ok guys, here they are! My reactions to Nickelodeons Kids Choice Awards nominees this year! Remember, there is a difference between what Im voting for and what I think will win ;) Favorite Movie The Hunger Games: Catching Fire Iron Man 3 Oz the Great and Powerful The Smurfs 2 To tell the truth, I actually have NOT seen any of these D: I will likely see them this year though cuz I actually want to! Iron Man 3 picks up where the Avengers left off and I will be glad to see it sometime knowing its on Starz, but... Im hearing a lot of mixed reaction about it, but Ill form my opinion once I complete the Marvel madness (so far) with Iron Man 3! Disneys Oz I wanna see this year too because thats also on Starz, and knowing its from the director of the original Spider-Man trilogy and Im already playing as the Scarecrow in the GHS play, I will be happy to take a day to see this one too! The Smurfs 2 will likely get a lot of attention here (heck, the movie was first confirmed at the 2012 KCAs) and as much as I like to think its another Chipmunks-esque movie, I did see the first movie and did admit it was 10% better than the usual movie of that type, plus I think the song released for the movie is very catchy (Britney Spears Ooh La La)... plus Tom Kane and Neil Patrick Harris. I think my sister has the Blu-ray for it so Id likely watch that one after the awards. The Hunger Games Catching Fire... yeah, I think its gonna be a while until I enter that fandom, if I do at all XD. Thats the least priority on that list to me but I can talk to Rachael about it! In all honesty, I dont know what to vote for or what will win in this one, but heck, The Hunger Games beat Marvels Avengers last year, so I wouldnt be surprised if they win again! Favorite Animated Movie Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 Despicable Me 2 Frozen Monsters University Ok, three out of the four Ive seen! Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs 2 I have not seen but is actually very excited to see it! It came out on DVD recently so hopefully I can rent it one of these nights, the first one is impressive and very funny, same with the same studios Hotel Transylvania. Even though the directors moved on to The Lego Movie (REALLY FREAKIN GREAT FILM), I think one of the directors or producers of this sequel was from Shrek 2, so that would be awesome! If Im looking for a silly, colorful, pun-filled adventure, CWACOM2 I will see this year (which I will)! Despicable Me 2 was great and though I thought this film franchise was overrated in the past, I am proud to say I think that movie was really funny and clever (very minor flaws here and there) but Im glad to say I think this is what Ill vote for! Heck, the first movie beat Dreamworks How to Train Your Dragon, Shrek Forever After, and even Toy Story 3 in 2011... in my opinion though, I think it was mainly because Miranda Cosgrove was in it and it was Nickelodeon, I voted for Shrek 4 XD. Disneys Frozen was really great too and it has a ton of fans so I will be glad to vote for this one as well! Do you want to build an orange blimp? Knowing Disneys Wreck-It Ralph won this award last year, theres quite a standing here for it to win! Monsters University.... OK, I love Monsters Inc. One of my favorite animated movies and I did make this one my top priority last summer... and though it was funny, it really did not live up to the first one... sorry Pixar, but to tell I truth I though D-Me 2 and MLP Equestria Girls were better... a little surprised Dreamworks The Croods isnt in this list, but oh well XD Favorite Voice from an Animated Movie Steve Carell as Felonious Gru for Despicable Me 2 Miranda Cosgrove as Margo for Despicable Me 2 Billy Crystal as Mike Wazowski for Monsters University Katy Perry as Smurfette for The Smurfs 2 I have quite the toss-up here! Steve Carell did a fantastic job disguising his accent in his voice for Gru in D-Me, Im still impressed to this day, and Billy Crystal does a remarkable humorous voice for Mike Wazowski (even if MU wasnt as good, Monsters Inc. was fantastic), so I voted for Carell first and next time I vote it will be Crystal. Of course Miranda Cosgrove is nominated for a reason I stated earlier, and the Smurfs celebrity casting Katy Perry as Smurfette was inevitably nominated as she won in 2012 for the same reason XD Again, I really dont know who will win this one! I think it would be a toss up between Cosgrove and Perry... though I really support the other two guys more. Favorite Movie Actor Johnny Depp as Tonto for The Lone Ranger Robert Downey, Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man for Iron Man 3 Neil Patrick Harris as Patrick Winslow for The Smurfs 2 Adam Sandler as Lenny Feder for Grown Ups 2 Ugh, still guilty for not seeing Disneys The Lone Ranger (I really hope I can this year! I still really wanna see it or at least play the game in Disney Infinity!), and even Grown Ups 2 (though admittedly I can see where some negative reviews are coming from) because Adam Sandlers really funny as well... I like RDJ as Tony and Neil Patrick Harriss performance in Smurfs (many critics thought he was the best part of the first movie) as well as Prince Gumball in Adventure Time... I love all four of these actors so Im voting for all XD Favorite Movie Actress Sandra Bullock as Dr. Ryan Stone for Gravity Mila Kunis as Theodora for Oz the Great and Powerful Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire Jayma Mays as Grace Winslow for The Smurfs 2 Wow, a lot of the older voters I can tell will vote for Sanda Bullock in Gravity! Mila Kunis was in Oz but I mainly remember her from Ted and Family Guy (XDDD)... same for Jennifer Lawrence, I remember her for X-Men rather than Hunger Games (XDDDDDD)... Jayma Mays was actually pretty cute with Harris in Smurfs (havent seen sequel yet) c: Voting for Jayma Mays, though I know she probably wont win against these 3... Favorite Male Buttkicker Johnny Depp as Tonto for The Lone Ranger Robert Downey, Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man for Iron Man 3 Hugh Jackman as Logan/Wolverine for The Wolverine Dwayne Johnson as Roadblock/Marvin F. Hinton for G.I. Joe: Retaliation Well, I already told you about Depp and RDJ earlier so that saves me some time... Hugh Jackman played a great Wolverine the past 10 years (though admittedly I havent seen the new Wolverine, he kicked ass in the original X-Men and Origins)... G.I. Joe Retaliation was pretty good in my opinion, I really liked it and Johnsons performance as Roadblock! Unfortunately he was also in Pain and Gain which sucked big time... I love all four of these actors, so Ill vote for all four again but Ill start with Johnson since I actually saw the freakin movie (even though Pain and Gain sucked) XD Favorite Female Buttkicker Sandra Bullock as Dr. Ryan Stone for Gravity Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire Evangeline Lilly as Tauriel for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug Jena Malone as Johanna Mason for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire You already know my opinion on the first 2, and Im unfamiliar with the other 2, though Im glad theyre giving the Hobbit some support. I just looked the 2 up and theyre still not that familiar to me... plus Im still surprised as heck they nominated something related to Gravity for a Kids Choice Award XD. I think Ill vote for Lawrence, since shes a good Mystique! Well thats all I got for now, stay tuned while I cover the next few nominees!
