Ok here is day 4&5 of the thankful challenge. Im going to double up because there are so many people to mention in this post. These are for all my kids. 1. My Vagabond Youth Theater kids. You are much closer to being my peers but at the time you were my kids. Thank you for teaching me so much about so much. You let me lead you blindly so many times and always had faith that Id deliver you safely. Ive never learned so much as I did during those summers. I look back and can admit that I had no idea what I was doing but I did have real conviction that what we were all working to accomplish was making a difference. I truly believe it did. Its makes me smile to see you all grown and living such unique and adventurous lives. Thank you, thank you for helping set me on my path. My Phoenix Center Youth a Theatre kids. I met you all shortly after leaving Seattle interning at the Seattle Childrens Theatre and I was inspired and informed and felt armed with knowledge and vision. We had some great times and made some amazing stage magic. I t never mattered that we were working with small budgets and and in a challenging space we were making theatre that we were proud of and that made us happy. It has been so amazing to reunite with some of you the past year and call you friends. Finally my Theater Works kids this time I finally feel like like I know what Im doing from my first day and even through today you all lend me your amazing talents at I may create my own art through you I finally feel I have found my voice and am the storyteller I have trying for so long to become I have so many more stories to tell I hope you will keep allowing me to tell them through your unique and creative talents Most of you are too young to be my FB friends so I will tag your parents instead.
