Ok its been a few weeks since my allergic reaction to my infusion. I must say I have never been that scared for myself ever. I honestly thought I was going to die...twice even. I really thought id be getting that drug pumped into me forever. It was the only chemo weve found that didnt keep me in bed for days at a time and that actually worked very well on my eyes. So I have been putting off calling my eye specialist to find out what our next step is. So today I am going to force myself to call him. Lets hope hes got another miracle drug up his sleeve. The ambulance and hospital gave me a list of the meds they used to open my airway so I could give to all my drs in case it would interact with my meds. Well I had lost that stack of papers (Oh I had found it once and put them in a safe place so I wouldnt lose them again only to lose them again lol). So now I actually faxed them to Wolfe. My chemo dr already has all the info since hes with Mercy and has access to Mercy hospital records. But now Im freaking out cuz what if they dont have another option. I dont mind getting the implants but really thought id be able to quit getting them eventually. Lets hope they know what to try next cuz I really dont wanna fly out to Boston to see my big shot dr. Oh why cant life be easier!!! Just want normal eyes...who wouldve thought thatd be on my wish list :)
