Ok just so i dont hurt anyone feelings I am going to use one of my own as an example for this question. The standard call for a tail at a 45 degree angle from horizontal. Would that mean from the surface the bird is standing on? I tried to select a picture that was as level as I had for this example. Also should it be just the shaft of the main sickles or the outer edge of them. I need to get this down so I can exercise my culling eye on my own birds.
