Ok ladies, symptom question here bc surely at least one of you will have some experience...(Keep in mind I have already called my Dr this morning and have been advised to come in for lab work today but have to go to BG tomorrow morn anyway so Ill just be holding off til then so I dont have to make two trips living almost an hour away.) Ok so...I am 32 weeks pregnant and last night the palms of my hands and the bottoms of my feet started itching profusely. Im talking like driving me bat crap crazy itching and then spread to my wrists and my ankles and now Im just itching all over and scratching like crazy, its awful! It kept me up all night I finally fell asleep prob around 4am from just pure exhaustion then had to get back up at 6:30 and get my son on the bus and care for my 3 yr old so Im going off hardly sleep and feel like crap. Had the itching ended last night I never would have called the office but I woke up scratching like crazy once again and still am, so I called and my Dr wants me to come in for the labs like I said and said I could take Benadryl or use hydrocortisone for some relief. Do any of you ladies know what could be happening to me or why they want lab work done, have any of you experienced this!? I do NOT have any rashes and my skin is not dry bc Ive used lotion like crazy trying to stop the itching. I wanted to ask here in case any of you ladies have any insight. I have nurses and arnps in my family I guess I could ask but they dont have much if any experience with pregnancy related symptoms or illnesses so figured Id save them the trouble and worry not to mention they are working or sleeping atm. Lol. Anyone??
