Ok last Relay push to get the challenge met. I have a few friends that are going to help with spreading the word, Thank you James Barnett and Nick Rankin. So to remind every one the challenge goals. 1 $150 I go clean shaved ( I have an anonymous donator so goal is met) 2 $250 I shave my legs 3 $500 Legs get waxed and video posted. (This does not mean you have to watch it) The end of the challenge will be the 19th. If I reach goal number 3 by then i will be getting the wax on Friday. I was asked why I Relay the other day in just one word. It took me a sec because this person has heard some of the reasons and the people I relay for. So it sum up why I relay in just one word I had to dig deep. That one word is HOPE. Without HOPE cancer wins. I relay yo provide HOPE that there will be a cure. I Relay to give HOPE to the newly diagnosed survivor that you can win. One of the thing relay does is bring Cancer survivors together so some can see someone that had the same cancer they have. They can talk and see that Cancer is not a "Death Sentence" At night when you see HOPE spelled out in Luminaria Bag it is very powerful. Some people group together and hug, cry and laugh. Me I take some pictures then go off by myself and let the tears go, even as I type I feel them. As I stand the weight of all the bags hit me. Each bag is a person effected by cancer, most are not with us any more. You have a track lined with bags. So HOPE is why I relay. Without HOPE there is no reason to fight.
