Ok my child goes to Moss Bluff Middle School and Ive called them and the school board to get no help or answers so now Ill post it for all to see.. my daughter came home with lice yesterday. This is the 4th outbreak weve had. Before you go blaming my household let me say, after each out break Ive gone postal cleaning any and everything she could or couldnt have came in contact with. Ive medicated her hair, pulled out most of it and I dont let her return to school until its completely gone. The last one before this was two months ago.. they cant live that long without live cells. I check her weekly since the school has refused to do anything. The school states they have to have written consent to check our childrens heads. The school board states each school has their own rules. I guess Im asking for all parents of children of the middle school to check your childs head and educate them on lice and how to prevent it. Maybe even call the school and voice your concerns. Thanks for listening.
