Ok my faith in humanity just dropped about 1000 points today....so I leave work at 5:15, stop to get gas at my Kroger, I go to make a left on Hayes (checked several times before pulling out), and WHAM!!! I get broadsided by someone! It happened in a split second, dont know where they came from, but heres the best part, I pull off to the side and get out of the car to see where the other car is, oh they slowed down, but then sped away!!! WTF!! It was a small white car, pretty old...my guess is, no insurance, drunk, or a young kid scared to death! I hope they are ok, but really, you dont stop to make sure the other person is ok??!! And, on top of it, no one else stopped to see if I was ok!! This is a very busy road, and at rush hour!!! What exactly is wrong with people????!!! Where is the basic concern for your fellow man?? I just dont understand it, it makes me very sad.. But even with all the ranting and raving, I truly hope and pray the other person isnt injured. I called 911 right away, the cop was really nice, and my insurance company is awesome...Wont know until the collision shop looks at it if its fixable...uugghh!! Really dont want to get a new car and have a car payment...we are car payment free in our house! But the fact that Im ok is really all that matters (and hopefully the other person too). If it had been a larger vehicle, not so sure what would have happened...my guardian angel was with me. When all is said and done...Im thankful that I get to see another day and be with my husband and kids...life can change in a split second, dont take anything for granted..
