Ok my friends and family I just want to tell you the update for DOWN ON THIS OL FARM, which has little or nothing to do with the progress made on my house....this week put Chester, WV on the map! Saturday I received a phone call from Publishers Clearing House telling me I had won 2.5 million dollars and a Mercedes Series 4 car....woohoo...after about 45 minutes on the phone with the man known to me as Mr. John Brown I had been informed God had Blessed me with these winnings which I should receive no later than Thursday this week...All I had to have was 2 forms of ID and a Green Dot Money Scratch off Card from Walmart for $499.00....Well my bank is not open and I do not have access to atm so the poor sole had to call me back on Monday to finish the transaction...On Monday he called me again asked me to scratch off the card to reveal the access code...which he thinks I did because I held the phone down close to the piece of paper that I scratched on....he then asked me how many numbers were on the card...I took a shot in the dark and said 16..no he says to me count them again...maybe 12, I said...That cant be right there is suppose to be 14 he says...let me get my glasses I say, oh yeah there is fourteen..he then asks me to read him the numbers...But I inform him that the nice teller who sold me the card told me that this code is like a credit card number and will give them access to my 499. dollars...Trust me he says so I ask where they are to deliver my money to, you know what address....silence then the phone goes dead...they call back and give an address which is NOT mine and I tell them so..still he tries to get the access code to my imaginary card..I inform him that I will not give him the numbers over the phone even though he insists that the money will stay on the card but they have to put the numbers in their computer so they can deliver my money..I then ask for their Federal employer number..phone goes dead.....another call...again he asks for the number on the card...I explain to him that when we talked he said I needed two forms od ID and this card upon their arrival and at that time I would let them have this card, NO numbers till then..now my delivery is moved up to Tuesday at 3:30...o.k.....Tuesday at 3:20 I receive yet another call informing me that they are on their way and I need to give them the numbers on this caard so they have a green light for delivery..I tell the man on the other end of the phone I was born but not yesterday...that if he wants the numbers he can have them when he shows up at my door..He tells me he has to have the numbers to write on my 2 million dollar check...at this point I loose my cool so to speak...I tell him that if indeed he held a 2 million dollar check for me he would be able to give me the federal ID number because I am sure it would be on that check and since this was NOT my first dealings with PCH I knew that he didnt know what he was talking about and having been in business at one time I know that this number was readily available to anyone winning money in the USA....and if after this he still wanted the numbers on my card come to my hose and get them. He hung up and I have not heard from him since...Only wish I had gotten the card emptied the money off and given him the numbers afterward...LOL ....Scam artists have reached out to Chester...they really must think we live in the BOONIES...Down on the Farm
