Ok, my new Helix..... make a comment: When it starts cold the high idle doesnt seem to kick in. If I dont wait before it warms up, then it does that thing where it doesnt seem to have enough power to move, or a few times it just dies. Then, while coming down to a stop, it does a little tiny chink backfire before it kicks into neutral, which I know, is normal for most Helixs. But even the warm idle seems too low, yet it seems like it is going through gasoline a little too fast. Other than that, I (finally) took it up past 60 mph and did so without knowing it.... I glanced down and saw 62 mph with no sign of vibration or resistance !! Ill be taking it in soon for its first oil change and a look-over by the (expensive) mechanic that seems to know about Helixs. The inexpensive one that works out of his garage i will probably go back to for little stuff after this official check. Otherwise, I will do about every other oil change myself depending on what else needs to be done. The bike is so damn clean!
