Ok need some help. Back in the late 60s there was a long white 2 story building across the street from the courthouse, would have been on the northwest corner of Cochran and Harris to the west of the library. The VFW used it for their meeting hall. I remember helping my dad in the meeting rooms and bar getting all setup for the next meeting. Upstairs on the 2nd floor was a large room with some hospital type beds and wheel chairs that we used to play in as kids. I believe that after the new VFW was built on Lansing road the building was used for traffic court. At least I remember going there to pay a ticket I received. What was this building originally?
