Ok now, I have been in a number of arguments or discussions where one person would be said to be thinking like Lenational or Lecongress, and this got me thinking deep. Ohk so, if its said that some1 is thinking like Lenational or Lecongress to me it means there are characteristics, patterns, ideology, believes etc that identify Manational and Macongress which incidentally also shape they thinking, right? - this question I asked a friend and he confirmed that is so and went on to explain such traits making reference to The National party and the Congress Parties that ruled Lesotho. I then consulted a number of sources so to verify his explanations and the understanding i got from them, which was very cleary I must say. But i could only get literature on Nationalism and noting relevant on congress. His explanation of nationalism agreed with the literature and the explanation on congress could not be verified, but it made sense to me when i look evidence in my country, therefore Ill use it to share my idea. So apparently nationalism is about the nation (infact all literature on nationalism starts first by defining a nation), if we go forward we do as a nation (which may also mean if we fall we fall as a nation) . So things like cooperatives, mantsatla and the likes make sense to me. And apparently Congress is about individuals (advance a few who can then advance the rest), loyalty to the boss (and loyalty can be instilled in many ways) - (this came from my friend). So it made me think that maybe some of the complaints about corrupt governments dont really hold as parties running such governments are merely following the parties ideologies.
