Ok rescue friends I need some assistance. Have any of you dealt with a pretty bad case of happy tail? And if so any recommendations for a treatment? I have a 90 pound male pit/rott mix who is making my house look like a murder scene! I just purchased an e-collar to keep him from licking at it so it can dry out but any recommendations as far as any topical treatments? He is 7 years old and my last resort would be having his tail docked. But he breaks my heart everytime he goes around the corner or enters a room and smacks his tail.
