Ok so I know that we needed stricter bikey laws because it was getting really bad but I objectively think that some of the laws they brought in have gone too far. Mostly the tattoo parlor related laws. They expect bikies to quit the club, go out and get day jobs and earn an honest buck; which is fair enough cause killing people and smuggling guns is no good obviously. But with the new laws stopping any former or current known members or club associates from being allowed to own or work in a tattoo parlor; I see there being a problem. Seriously, you look at bikies; all of them have to atleast have club tattoos and some of them are covered in tatts. And there would have been a lot of them either owning or working in tattoo parlors. So they have to give up their day jobs that supply them with honest work to go out and get another honest job? Um really? And then there would be those who wouldnt have already had jobs so now they would have to go out and try and get jobs if they want to conform with the laws. There wouldnt be a whole lot of job opportunities for a former gang member out there; let alone taking out one type of job that stereotypically a tattoo covered bloke with a beard could get. So whats left then? Mechanics, bar workers? Seriously have no parliament members seen Sons of Anarchy? They own a mechanics shop and a bar; no tattoo parlors. So whats next then? They gonna take away those career paths away too? Then what will happen? The former bikey looking to turn his life around to avoid jail; will not be left with many other options; leaving a whole lot of pressure to turn back to illegal money making schemes. I dont know it just seems to me that its probably gonna backfire.... Rant over :)
