Ok so I want to make this known. People and mostly us women seem to take the term self respect different ways. I say women because when we see someone doing something that we wouldnt do ourselves suddenly its them not having respect for themselves. For example twerkers, strippers, etcetera. We (I say we as a collective whole) bash them for what they do. What gives us that notion that they dont respect themselves? Are they outright telling us they dont respect or love themself? This type of thinking can be said about so many things. Oh she has on makeup, she doesnt love herself. Her cleavage is showing, she doesnt love herself. She wears baggy clothes, she doesnt care for herself. Her clothes are too tight, poor baby isnt loved. Whatever. MAYBE YOUR NEED TO BRING DOWN OTHER WOMEN OF SOCIETY IS PROOF YOU DONT LOVE YOURSELF. Now I am not saying I agree with everything thats done but who am I to judge someone elses worth. We need to change how we look at and speak to and about other women. We all need to love ourselves harder and the best way thats right for our own being. Guaranteed it isnt the same for everyone. End rant.
