Ok, so before I catch up on some sleep I noticed a lot of inquiries about the potential for snow on Saturday and I didnt wanna leave everyone hanging. Overview- •Snow has ended across the region and will be replaced with partly cloudy skies and gusty winds •Blowing snow may reduce visibility at times through the afternoon •The region has recieved 18-24 inches of snow on average, with localized higher amounts •Snow loads on roofs should be cleared, reports of roof collapses continue to increase this morning •Take the time to clear snow away from fire hydrants and storm drains, an upcoming warm up may result in flooding if drains are blocked •Another storm will rapidly intensify off the coast tomorrow, it appears this storm will develop too late and not impact the region with more than a light accumulation of snow •Light snow is possible tomorrow between 7AM-5PM especially across the southern and eastern zones, 1-4 inches is possible •If tomorrows system develops earlier, it has the potential to increase snowfall, at the moment this is of low probability •More winter weather may impact the region Monday and again on Tuesday into Wednesday •A moderation of temperatures should occur across the region over the next 7-10 days, just how warm it gets and the longevity are uncertain Visit the website for more details- hudsonvalleyweather
