Ok so it has been like 6 months!! Im definately not a gifted writer and it sometimes makes me cringe when I read back over this grammar is not my strong point but I know I have good intentions but never follow through..So I have joined a running (walking) group and God willing I will stick with it! This is not a weight loss journey page so I will not be devulging personal stats etc ..Its more for encouragement and to know you are not the only one .you are not doing this alone xx I have been recently been in the Word and the Lord has been putting infront of me a lot of messages about idolatry, I think I have been a little confused of what that was , I immediately think of people praying to statues/ figurines as idolatry but the Lord has opened my eyes AMEN to the real meaning idolatry when we put anything in our lives ahead of the Heavenly Father whether its our job, money, our boyfriend/ husband (and heres the slap in the face I got) my desire to lose weight/get fit we are turning these things in our lives into idols in our hearts ..Trust me I did not want to here this and have made many excuses in my head to why I want these things justifying (and Satan must of been loving it) but thankfully by the grace of God ,I have been convicted AMEN ..I pray that you seek the Lord in your daily lives and ask him to show you if you are making something in your lives into your idols , it could be anything!
