Ok so its begun. Quite a reasonable amount of rain has fallen in the last few hours and sings of the storm are now beginning to be felt along the South Coast with the worse around Cornwall/Devon. Nothing much in the way of severity has changed, if anything its actually getting a bit worse. MetOffice via Sky have warned (apparently not heard 1st hand) of 90mph gusts at Heathrow. Guernsey has recorded 100+ gusts (however thats exposed in a way we are not). My own weather station here has shown a sharp drop in air pressure as the system begins to make its way in as have all the other dotted about. I think rather than one long post I shall do many smaller ones tonight. Its going to be a long one... But it IS on the way...
