Ok, so mellys results came back. The vet said its better than he thought! :D She has a hyperthyroidism. And terrible arthritis. Its going to be a long expensive recovery. She needs thyroid medication that is 100.00 every 50 days. And injections every month to relieve her arthritis. In her joints. She seems better after only being on wet food all night. I fed her every 2 hours. Long night but she managed to jump on the bed and give me cuddles. I will do my best and keep going as her treatment starts Monday. She has been eating well and walking around. Still not well. Shes not a fat cat anymore. She isnt meowing or anything. I need work to pay for this but wont let her live in pain. Any advice? Hugs x but so far she is stable and eating kangaroo and special renal wet food. Am I doing the right thing? :)
