Ok so my pony got kicked in the field today and has nasty wound and vet 80% sure she has fractured her leg but because of the swelling he cant be 100% sure so will X-ray again on Monday to confirm :( because of the location of the wound he was unable to bandage and splint the limb so she is having to be cross tied for 6 days and if it is fractured it could be 6-10 weeks being tied up ! Normally this mare is laid down more hours in the day than upright so this is going to be difficult for her.... After advice on how to make this a more pleasant experience ?? Games ? Toys etc etc ?? Anybody else had this problem ? Many thanks
