Ok, so probably i am the last one on earth to know that Matt Bomer (claim to fame : Neal Caffrey in White Collar) is officially out of the closet gay, but heres a cute trivia : Matt Bomer has been living with his partner Simon Halls for years and they have three kids (namely Kit, Walker & Henry) via surrogacy. The couple married in the yearr 2011. Bomer elaborated on the wedding and that no one knew for almost three years “It was very chill,” he said of the nuptials. “Very small: only our nearest and dearest. There’s a security, a validity of knowing that it’s legal. It’s hard to put into words. It’s just a feeling, I guess, something about saying vows in front the people around you who love and support you. I think it was good for our family.” When Bomer came out in 2012, he said, “I frankly did not think people would be that interested. I certainly didn’t think it was going to be on the CNN ticker.” Above all else, Bomer said that raising children with his husband has changed everything. There’s a level of love that really dissolves a lot of egotism and self-absorption. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I have my moments. But at a certain point in my life, my whole day would have been about this interview, he admitted. Now it’s a small part of a day that also includes a drop-off at school in the morning and baseball practice and a lot of other things that take precedence.” Matt, who made his first foray into film with 2005s Fightplan alongside Jodie Foster, has just finished a promotional tour with Channing Tatum and Matthew McConaughey for Magic Mike.
