Ok so school board had the WRONG TIME for meeting but the uniform dress code was approved and passed. In talking to the ones left as stated on proposal - GIRLS basic uniform is long or short sleeved collared blouse or polo shirt of ANY COLOR OR DESIGN ( can have stripes, flowers, plaid,etc.) and of course must cover cleavage, midriff, etc with skirt, pants, walking shorts jumpers or skirts of any fabric ( no jeggings or too short shorts) must be appropriate size ....BOYS basic is long or short sleeve collared shirt such as polo, sport shirt, or dress shirt with pants or walking shorts of any fabric (no athletic shorts,cut off pants, or running shorts). Also no denim with holes in them for girls or boys. Everything else pretty much the same. The only thing I dont know is if they can wear sweat pants but I dont see why not because they didnt say they couldnt and it says any fabric......the entire policy with the other addendum is on the Alachua County School Board website. Also it may be in the news because TV20 was there
