Ok so since we are raising shit about recent events i will remind everyone of a travesty of the judicial system at its worse. July 5, 2011 Kelly Thomas , a homeless, mentally ill white male was beaten and murdered by six cops. The leader was a Mexican cop. The entire murder was captured on video and audio . The cops were not charged with his murder. Did everyone flip a shit and start hurting innocent people? Did we burn down buildings ? Steal from stores? Wipe out businesses? Destroy property? NO !!!! We didnt because that wouldnt bring Kelly back. It would only prove we have degraded ourselves to the level of the men that murdered him!!!! Is stealing 50 pairs of Air Jordans going to bring that man back? What the hell is wrong with people? You all have brains use the god dam things and cut this bullshit !!! I still think about Kelly often and only hope that some day these men will get was is due to them. This rioting is not doing anything except creating a hostile world. Is that what we all want?? Do you think MLK would be applauding this behavior? HELL NO!!!! We possess the most dangerous weapon that when used correctly can change the world. That is our BRAINS!!! No one can take that away from us. So enough noise and senseless criminal activity. Join forces and meeting of the minds and figure it out!! I will never forget Kelly Thomas and he has touched so many lives. Please if you dont know about Kelly Thomas , please watch the video. He was a homeless, mentally ill man but he was a human being . He had purpose in this world as do all of us. RIP Kelly :(
