Ok so this is my fight from last night lol... I have so much to say but Im gonna try to keep it short. Ok so first Id like to thank everyone who came out to support me last night! Alright so amateur boxing is getting rid of head gear I guess cuz they want us to be more like the professionals. So all of us boxers have to adjust to not wearing head gear we have to make sure are defence is tight and we have to watch out for head butts and elbows so we dont get cut. If we have to make these adjustments why cant the officials make the proper adjustments and know what to look for? If they want us to fight like pros why cant they judge and reff like pros? Let the fighters have a cutman and let us put Vaseline on our face between rounds like the pros do. Shout out to my opponent OReilley he came to fight and I dont blame him for the decision I blame the officials because this is ridiculous. So you clearly see that Im winning the 2nd round and that I hit him with a clean left hook at about 5:01 in the video and he turns his head and he has a cut below his eyebrow so the reff jumps in Im thinking the reff is giving him an 8 count but no he calls in the doctor to check my opponents cut to see if he can continue and he cant. So Im thinking I won the fight because thats basically a tko. If you hit your opponent with a punch and he gets cut and starts bleeding and he cant continue fighting thats a tko. They always say dont leave it in the judges hands thats what I thought I did. The reff says it was from a head butt and that its going to be a technical decision and that there only going to judge the first round of the fight. So I lose the fight because of some bullshit call by the reff lol. Ive lost fights before but never like this. I just hope that amateur boxing association makes the proper adjustments and takes this more seriously because cuts are going to happen at a lot of boxing events and there is going to be more stupid decisions. So make the adjustments or make us wear headgear. I cant wait to turn pro so I dont have to deal with this crap.
