Ok so this was a weird evening...I got arrested because of a warrant for the Volvos registration that expired in 2013 and that was not running for the year that the engine blew up. I was never notified of this registration warrant. So the sheriff pulls me over after noting that I had this outstanding Statewide registration warrant. I was cuffed and put in the car to spend the next 2+ hours in the Summit County Jail...I was treated well and the deputies could not understand why I would be processed for a warrant worth, get this....$164.00!!!!! WTF, it cost the sheriffs office more to process me (IMHO) than if they would have notified me and ask that I pay it outright. Had I known this it would have saved me 2 hours of my time and the sheriffs. Now I have to stand in front of the judge and explain this again in the next 14 days. Again it must be noted that the deputies are all very pleasant and have a hard job to do...Much respect to them for doing their jobs, but in the future, please warn me if I have something like this outstanding.
