Ok, so todays huge McCallie tailgate for the big game against Baylor makes it pretty official: David Carroll is the coolest freshman Ive ever seen perform two sets with two different bands -- with The Vandals on drums, and here on guitar with Quarter-Life Crisis. His big brother Ed Carroll, no slouch himself, says Dave is the best musician in the household. He certainly wowed a couple thousand people today -- and this a few weeks after his *other* band, with Baylor friends, rocked the halftime show for the Red Raiders game vs. Ensworth. Ah, rock n roll and football: cant get a much better fall weekend than that!
