Ok some of you may already know this, some of you may not. And I am sure all of you have no idea just how high tech criminals have become with Skimming on ATM and POS machines. I have been saying for years NEVER use you ATM/ Debt Card at a store by using the Debt otion putting in your pin always use it as a Credit. In the store it is too easy to shoulder surf someone and get the pin. And now with there being completely bogus machines and entering in your pin the crooks have both the card info and the PIN. Only use ATMs that your Bank owns or are inside/ on a Bank controlled facility. They will actively monitor their own machines for this type of fraud. Using ATMs in random places like the local Bodegas or random street corner fair are always highly risky. Just a friendly reminder to be careful out there.
