Ok, somebody help me understand this thing... Obama says he has a sacred obligation to retrieve captured military personnel. Hmmm, not sure how that applies to someone the military never listed as a prisoner of war, and about whom there is mounting evidence that he disliked and abandoned his service to the country. So, as a fellow Christian (at least Obama SAYS he is one), why is there no sacred obligation for him to retrieve a soldier of the Cross from captivity in Iran? Saeed Abedini did not speak ill of his country or of his calling, prior to his being relegated to an Iranian prison; he willingly went to serve. And he has been imprisoned in Iraq for some 8 years, versus Bergdahls 5. Obama indicated there was an urgent need to act , due to Bergdahls deteriorating health. But Abedini, an American citizen, has been tortured by a foreign government for 8 years now, as the president has ignored him. So why is it a sacred obligation to retrieve someone serving for a common flag, but not a sacred obligation to retrieve someone serving a common faith? Your thoughts...
